Lost & Found: Brian Harnois of ‘Ghost Hunters’ possible suicide attempt

Brian Harnois, a former paranormal investigator of the television show “Ghost Hunters”, allegedly wrote a suicide note on Sunday, December 9, 2012. His wife, Michelle Harnois filed a missing person report the same day with the Warwick Police Department after not seeing him for a few days.

Harnois was found alive and unharmed on Monday, December 10, 2012, and the following statements were made by his friends and family.

“I was just informed Brian has been found safe and sound.” T.A.P.S. Founder and “Ghost Hunters” star, Jason Hawes made this comment on his Facebook page at 11:30 AM.

“I do not know the details but Brian has been found SAFE and is currently on his way to get mental treatment.” Michelle Harnois posted this on her Twitter page at around 9:00 AM.

Harnois who recently celebrated a birthday, left a cryptic message on his Facebook page saying goodbye to his wife and daughters. Fans of Harnois assumed it was a suicide note and the news of it spread like wildfire throughout the paranormal community and online social networking sites.

No further information has been publicly released by authorities at this time.

Is Harnois really suicidal or is this a publicity stunt?
