NASA’s Curiosity Rover snaps image of pyramid found on Mars

Weird News

A strange feature was found on an image of Mars earlier this week. According to a report from Huffington Post today, a man was viewing photos on NASA’s website when he noticed a pyramid in one of the government agency’s photos.

The image was published by NASA on May 7. It can be found in the Mars Curosity Rover photo gallery in the Mars Science Laboratory on mars.nasa.gov. YouTube user Paranormal Crucible was scanning through NASA photos and noticed an anomaly that resembles a pyramid. He posted a video of his findings on Sunday.

“A remarkable artifact has been found on the red planet by the Mars Curiosity Rover. Due to the size of the object about the scale of a small car I would theorize that the artifact is either the capstone of a much larger pyramid, possibly buried deep beneath the surface or perhaps a marker stone,” YouTube user Paranormal Crucible said in the video.

In the video, a photo from the Mars Curiosity Rover is shown. In the upper right corner of the image is a strange feature that resembles a pyramid.

The video has only been up a few days but it has gone viral. It managed to reach nearly a quarter of a million views in just a few days. Some people think that the anomaly is a rock but many others believe that it is in fact a pyramid.

What exactly is the strange anomaly? Is it a rock? Could it actually be a pyramid? Or is it pareidolia? Sound off with opinions in the comment section below.
